Social Education for Sustainable Coexistence of People and the Planet

The Pulmuone Foundation begins with our story of 'community.'
A community extends beyond my local area to encompass the entire Earth.
We expand our thoughts and actions from local to global, reflecting on the future of our community
and the social responsibilities we share as global citizens.

For coexistence and sustainability, what we need is not individual exceptional ability,
but the attitude of respecting others, empathizing, and reflecting with scientific thinking.
Through this, we must unite and cooperate to solve global issues together.
We discover and implement educational programs that develop essential skills for our children,
such as empathy and scientific thinking, to build a sustainable society.

Discover Social Education for Coexistence

  • Empathy Education for Coexistence

Children grow to become global citizens who empathize and collaborate for coexistence.

This class helps children learn not to hate or discriminate against differences, to respect diversity, and to feel the importance of empathy and cooperation. They learn the empathy that makes humans special through history and scientific facts, and identify problems within the community to solve together with their friends. Through this process, children recognize and practice valuable skills such as empathy, respect, cooperation, and coexistence, growing into global citizens.

  • Youth Scientific Thinking Lab

What would I think if I were a scientist?

The 'Children's Scientific Thinking Laboratory' is the first-ever children's scientific thinking education program in Korea that combines science and art. Scientific thinking involves questioning the seemingly obvious phenomena with "why" and finding answers through rational methods. This class is conducted through science theater, where children become scientists themselves, creating plays and performing on stage while exploring the mindset of a scientist. Based on scientific thinking, children grow into global citizens who view the world with an open attitude.

  • Mathematical Thinking Education

Mathematical thinking education helps children develop cognitive skills by systematically understanding nature and society, while fostering precise and logical thinking. To improve children's mathematical thinking abilities, we are developing math education research and teaching materials for elementary school parents and teachers.

  • Research on Children Education

Pulmuone Foundation conducts research on what and how to teach children—the future generation—for a sustainable tomorrow. Aligning with children's developmental stages and societal changes, we carry out educational research, believing that 'education' plays a crucial role in achieving a sustainable society and future. Additionally, we continuously explore and develop necessary education for future generations, as well as for the parents and teachers who nurture and guide them.
